The Herbert Brown photo, along with the James Ferrie photo, were sent to Earl Hangen by someone, (I don't know who....but I am sure it was not Fortman, as the writing on the reverse side is not in Fortman's style)
These are actually copies of photos, and are not "original"....or I would have used them as photo exhibits in the "MUSEUM".
The Ferrie image was actually used by Earl in his "Wood's Ladder Report"..but he never used the Brown image....
I don't know if these images were ever published before....I have not seen them in any publications as of yet. If I do find any info, or if any readers know of any prior publication of these images, let me know and I will update the source statement attached to the timeline entry of the photo.
