Online Museum of Checkers History

Greetings,
I just wanted to give a thanx to Lindus for allowing this image to be displayed.....
My son Jay Jr., and myself, have probably a combined 4 hours in the digital restoration of the image....we blew it up and pixel by pixel tried to clean it up, and rebuild the damaged parts of the image.
But, I believe the results are worth the effort......an historic image.

For any that have viewed this exhibit.....it has been altered.
The changes reflect the fact that this is an original copy of the photo that was used in the EDA Newsletter, # 23 NOV 1958.
The photo itself is from the English Open, 1949

I have included in the Exhibit a copy of Lindus Edwards original photo, and a copy of the image as it appeared in the EDA Newsletter, courtesy of Ken Lovell.
Any comments appreciated.
